To Resolve The Windows 10 Error 0xc00021a BSOD

In this article I will show you how to resolve the windows 10 error 0xc00021a which causes your machine to crash to a blue screen of death on every system boot. You are unable to get to the computers desktop. A screen like below will be displayed when your system crashes.

I came across a nice guide which details all steps you can take to resolve this issue located here. We usually get this BSOD issue on windows 10 because there is an issue with a operating system file such as corruption, file is on a bad sector on the local hard drive, a 3rd party software install has replaced a operating system file. Below is a video on youtube I found which shows you how to resolve this issue.

Resolving The Windows 10 Error 0xc00021a BSOD

First step to resolving this issue is to perform a system startup repair. Insert the windows 10 DVD in to your system and reboot, When you get prompted press any key to boot to the DVD. On the first window click on "Repair Your Computer"

On the next screen click on "Troubleshoot"

Next click on "Startup Repair"

The startup repair will now start, Follow the prompts to run the repair and reboot your machine when this program has finished. Hopefully your machine now boots to the windows 10 desktop.

If the startup repair does not work we can run a command which checks for corrupt files and bad sectors on your hard drive. Again insert your windows 10 DVD and boot to it. Click on "Repair Your Computer" > On the next screen click on "Troubleshoot" > Click on "Command Prompt" a black window will now popup type the following in to this window " chkdsk /f /r " with out the " and hit enter. This program will now scan your system for file corruption and bad sectors and will resolve any issues it finds. When this has completed reboot your system to see if this has resolved the issue.

If you are still having issues perform the previous steps again to get to the command prompt and run the below 2 commands.

sfc /scannow

dism/online/cleanup-image/restorehealth

Both of these commands will check your system for errors and will hopefully resolve the Windows 10 Error 0xc00021a.

Jason Bhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11284927475433631075noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8931075543718742743.post-69018430622186358622017-02-04T06:58:00.001-08:002017-02-04T06:59:51.521-08:00Removing pup.funwebproducts From Your SystemIs pup.funwebproducts spyware / malware / virus? pup is a type of malware, When your system is infected with pup.funwebproducts it usually installs some type of toolbar, Keeps a record of what web sites you have been visiting as well as injecting some ads in to your web pages. pup.funwebproducts is a low risk malware infection but be aware that about 10% of systems infected with pup.funwebproducts also get infected with viruses.

Step 1 : Download TDSSKiller, Once downloaded rename TDSSKiller.exe to iexplore.exe. Some times malware can stop processes from starting so if you name the .exe as the same name as the internet explorers .exe the pup.funwebproducts malware thinks its internet explorer loading up and not TDSSKiller.

Most systems can get away with a cheap video card but if you want to watch HD movies, Play 3d games or do anything that might require more than normal graphics power you will need to purchase a decent graphics card.

Graphics Card For Entry / Medium Level Computer

For the entry / medium level computers we will recommend you to use the onboard graphics card which is built in to your motherboard. These graphic cards do a very good job with 2d graphics. They also do a half decent job with 3d graphics but they are not recommended.
You should be able to view HD films with no problems on the built in graphics card (HD Ready at 720), But if you do plan on watching full HD films I would recommend you to buy a motherboard with an inbuilt graphics card supplied by nvidia or ATI. Intel graphic cards generally come built in to motherboards, and these graphic cards are not the best to be playing HD video. If the onboard graphics card is not up to the job you can always buy a dedicated graphics card and install it in to your system.
Graphics Card For High Level Computer

If you want to play full HD video and also graphic intensive games with your computer you will need to buy a good graphics card. The two best companies that make graphic cards are nvidia and ATI, there are also other company’s that develop graphic cards but nvidia and ATI are miles ahead of them.

First thing you need to look for in a graphics card is what form you need?? Check your motherboard what forms of graphics card it supports. Your motherboard will support either, AGP, PCI, PCI Express. Now you will need to select a graphics card with this form.
A graphics card comes with built in ram, Basically the graphics / images on your screen are being held in the graphics card ram. The more ram you have, the more pixels (Better the picture) you can have. I would recommend you buy a graphics card with a minimum of 512mb of ram and will recommend 1gb of ram.
GPU speed counts

The GPU is basically is a processor that is built in to your graphics card. You will need a fast GPU / clock speed if you want to watch HD movies at the highest resolution (1080) or play games with the highest graphics settings.Jason Bhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11284927475433631075noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8931075543718742743.post-56816046083751613312017-02-04T06:48:00.000-08:002017-02-04T06:48:56.566-08:00Choosing A Computer CaseThe computer case is what you put all your components inside. Computer cases come in all shapes and sizes, make sure you select a size you are happy with, Do you want a small case so it can fit under your desk nicely? Or do you want a big case so you can put more hard drives / CD-ROMS in?

Select A Case To Match Your Motherboards Form

The first thing you need to look for in a computer case is what motherboard forms it supports. When you selected a motherboard in the previous step the motherboard would of had a form, 99% of the motherboards you can buy are either ATX or micro ATX. Make sure the computer case you want to select supports this form.

How Many Expansion Slots

Another thing you need to check is how many expansion slots are there available at the front of the case. In these expansion slots you usually put CD-ROMS / External Hard-drives and memory card readers. You need to think what devices you want to use and how many slots you need. A typical case will come with 3 slots which is more than enough

Controlling Noise

There are many moving parts inside a computer, Some cases are designed to minimize noise leakage, I would highly recommend you look for one of these cases, The last thing you want is a noisy computer

Prepare For Cooling

If you plan to build an entry / medium spec machine, you most likely don’t need to worry about cooling. But if you plan to build a high spec / gaming machine you might want to think about cooling inside your computer case. Take a look at the computer case and look where you can mount computer fans. Usually there will be an intake fan at the lower front of the case, then an outtake fan at the top of the rear of the case, This will then pass the cooler air over the computer components cooling them down.
